The demolition and cleaning of the existing pier and dock in Izmir / Urla Military Sailors Camp Area, removal of the piles from the sea and transportation to land was carried out by Melis-I Dredging barge. 15.000 m3 of sand dredging work and sand and mud material excavated from the excavation were transported to the offshore dumping area with the dumping barge. Deepening work was also carried out between the piles for easy removal of the existing pier piles in the sea. The amount of dredged m3 is approximately 15,000 m3.
